The HSVC would like to extend a big thank you to Kirby Subaru of Ventura for donating food and funds to our shelter as part of the Subaru Loves Pets program! Bruce Holley (left) from Kirby Subaru of Ventura stopped by the shelter to drop off the truckload of goods, which included Pedigree wet and dry dog food, dog treats, and a large monetary donation. Assistant Shelter Director Arlene MacSween (middle), Director of Community Outreach Greg Cooper (right), and shelter dog Maso were on hand to receive the donation.

Bruce Holley, Jeff Sukay (not pictured), and the rest of the Kirby Subaru of Ventura team have been long time supporters of the HSVC. This donation was made in honor of what would have been our 88^th birthday Open House, which we were unable to put on due to COVID-19. The food and funds will be used to help feed the animals under our care and help pet owners in need throughout our community.
