Animal Care Associate

Jasmine holds an Associate’s degree in Science and a specialized degree in Exotic Animal Training and Management. With two years of experience working at a zoo, she has honed her skills and deepened her understanding of animal care, particularly with exotic species. Just recently engaged, Jasmine also shares her home with an orange tabby named Hera, who brings joy and companionship to her life. Although her professional background is rooted in exotic animals, Jasmine was drawn to the Humane Society of Ventura County to give back to the animals that initially sparked her passion for the field. Joining HSVC allows her to connect with and support the creatures that inspired her career, combining her expertise with a heartfelt commitment to animal welfare in the community.
