We are thrilled to announce that a $25,000 grant from the GlobalGiving Foundation was recently given to the Humane Society of Ventura County. These funds were used for the purchase of an all-important new horse stock trailer.

This new stock trailer will be used for our day-to-day operations as well as in times of extreme weather and fire conditions where horse evacuations from the more remote locations may be necessary.  GlobalGiving is the largest global crowdfunding community connecting nonprofits, donors, and companies in nearly every country and we at the Humane Society of Ventura County are extremely grateful for their generous funding. 

We would also like to thank Humane Society of Ventura County staff member, Ralph Saccomano, who works tirelessly  behind the scenes as our grant associate. Ralph played an integral part in securing the funds in order to make the purchase of a much needed stock trailer a reality.
