HSVC Attends Puppy Love Concert

We had so much fun at this Saturday's Puppy Love Concert in downtown Ojai! Thank you to all who attended, shared their talents on stage, and showed love to our four shelter pups onsite at the event. A special thank you to Asunta Fleming for MCing the event and helping us spread the love for the shelter!

We had four adoptable dogs present at Saturday's concert. Milo (above, left) was accompanied by Volunteer Ambassador Greg. As the longest dog resident at the shelter, this event was great exposure for our boy Milo. Father-daughter volunteer team Brian and Soul accompanied two-year-old Camila (above, middle). Single mom Ellie (above, right) was accompanied by Volunteer John, and she loved all the attention!

Each pup was given the opportunity to strut its stuff in front of the crowd, and they all did so well! Stop by the shelter if you missed your chance to meet these four gorgeous furry friends. The HSVC (402 Bryant St. Ojai, CA) is open Monday - Saturday from 10 am - 4:30 pm to visit with the dogs.

Attendees got the chance to learn more about the HSVC, visit some adoptable animals, and even make Valentines for the animals at the shelter! Thank you to all who showed their love for our animals. Stay tuned to see all the custom Valentines made at Saturday's event hung up all over the shelter!

There's still time to show love to shelter animals in need! Click the button below to donate a Valentine to our shelter animals now! For a minimum $5 donation, our staff will create a custom Valentine with your name on it to hang in our kennels through Valentine's Day. Help us show our furry friends how pawsome they are!
