A very special to The Towbes Group, Inc. who donated $2500 to the Humane Society of Ventura County this morning! 

Each year the staff of The Towbes Group pick three non-profit organizations to be the beneficiaries of a generous donation. The recipients are picked from organizations their employees volunteer at and then narrowed down by a county wide employee vote. The HSVC was fortunate to be chosen for Ventura County!

A few weeks ago the The Towbes Group came for a tour of our facility and got to visit with the animals in our care as well as see the various ways we serve the county as part of the process. This morning, Volunteer Coordinator Amanda Volden, on behalf of the shelter, attended a wonderful breakfast at their offices in Santa Barbara where she gratefully accepted a check for $2500!
