Did you know July is National Lost Pet Prevention Month? To kick it off, July 1st is  National ID Your Pet Day! This day serves as an annual check-in to make sure your pets' ID tags and microchip information is up to date. The HSVC is offering FREE ID tags now through July 10th to those in need to help prevent lost pets during the holiday weekend and in the future.

If you are a pet owner in need of an ID tag, please contact the shelter at 805-646-6505 to let us know the name, phone number, and/or address you'd like printed on your tag. ID tags will be available for same-day pickup during business hours. Please wear a mask and practice social distancing when picking up your tag.
