HSVC Seeks Help From Local University

HSVC is proud to announce an educational partnership with California State University Channel Islands (CSUCI) and the Center for Community Engagement (CCE). Our Humane Education program is seeking help from university students at CSUCI in an attempt to collaborate with those interested in animals and Humane Education. The initial reason for creating this opportunity was to request assistance in generating a school community survey. The purpose of the survey would be to provide data to understand how to better serve the school communities.

Humane Educator Angie Sagliani says, “This partnership makes me feel hopeful. I hope this opportunity will spark interest among students and faculty at the university. I want them to inquire more about service-learning with the Humane Society of Ventura County and I am excited to share information about the organization. I look forward to inspiring the CSUCI community to develop service-learning projects for the benefit of all living beings.”
