HSVC Cares Serves Those in Need Once Again!

HSVC Cares hosted another successful remote vaccination clinic over the weekend! Thanks to our dedicated clinic staff and volunteers, we were able to service nearly 150 animals in need with free vaccines! A big shoutout also goes out to our friends at Ohana Pet Hospital in Santa Paula for allowing us to use their parking lot. Way to go team!

Furry friends of all shapes and sizes came out to receive their free vaccines on Sunday, August 28th. Our organization was able to offer free DHPP vaccines (distemper/parvo) for dogs and free FVRCP vaccines (upper respiratory) for cats thanks to Petco Love.

We were grateful to have several students from Ventura College's vet tech program to assist our staff during the vaccine clinic. The students were not only a huge help, but they also got valuable hands-on experience with the animals and staff.

We're looking for organizations in Ventura County who are interested in helping us host our remote vaccine clinics! If your business or organization is interested, please contact HSVC Community Outreach Coordinator, Steve McCurry, via email at [email protected] or call 805-910-6240.
