We had so much fun at our free vaccination and adoption event at The Wharf in Ventura over the weekend! Our staff was able to give free vaccines to lots of furry friends, and one of our shelter pups even found his forever home. Thank you to all who attended, and thank you to The Wharf for hosting us!

Thanks to our friends at Petco Love, HSVC Cares was able to continue offering free vaccines to pets in need. We offered free FVRCP (upper respiratory) vaccines for cats, free DHPP (distemper/parvo) vaccines for dogs, and $5 Rabies vaccines.

Animals of all shapes and sizes came out for free vaccines. (Above) One pet owner even showed up with all four of her fluffy pups!

Thank you to the students of Ventura College's Vet Tech program who volunteered their time at the event. They were a huge help to our staff, and they gained great experience working with the animals!

Above: The best news of all? Four-year-old Tommy found his forever home! The adorable Miniature Poodle/Maltese mix was adopted by Stefanie after she fell in love with him at our event! Congratulations Tommy!
