Today the Humane Society of Ventura County releases the first in a series of video shorts featuring Adoption Success Stories. Each video features a rescue from the HSVC with their new family and the story behind their adoption.

Rayna was adopted from the Humane Society of Ventura County April 18, 2018 by Tim and Alisha Dewar. Rayna acts as an official greeter at the Ojai Valley News, where Tim is the Publisher. Rayna’s profile was elevated when an image of her appeared on the cover of the Ojai Valley Visitor’s Guide. Hear Tim recite the story of how he came to adopting Rayna and the nature of their relationship now.
