Sign Up for HEY Classroom 24' - 25' Programs!
The Humane Society of Ventura County (HSVC) invites all schools and youth organizations to participate in this season’s free Humane Education Youth (HEY) presentations. Each year the goal is to increase the number of youth audiences positively impacted by the information shared.
HEY offerings were updated for the 2024/2025 school year and we are now accepting presentation requests. HEY programs intend to empower learners to imagine solutions to local animal concerns. These updated presentations share information about the health and wellness of animals, which can seamlessly fit into state standards and school curriculums.
When teachers and educators request these presentations, it benefits many parts of our interconnected community. The goal of reaching more students calls for the collaboration of all stakeholders. HSVC together with schools and youth organizations can co-educate on the importance of creating thriving ecosystems for all. You can help us with this goal by talking about HEY programs and sharing these opportunities with teachers, educators, and school administrators.
We look forward to collaborating with teachers and educators to share information about animals in our communities. If you are looking to request a presentation, visit the HEY webpage and click on the orange button “Presentation Request” button.
