Help needed! The HSVC recently acquired several emaciated horses as part of an abuse and neglect case. Our dedicated staff is providing continuous care for these animals as they regain their health, including using between 10 and 15 bags of shavings per week to keep their corrals clean. As a result, we are running low on shavings. We’re looking for horse-loving supporters to purchase bags of shavings from any local feed store and donate them to our shelter. Help us care for these animals in need!

Donations can be dropped off at the shelter any time during business hours Monday – Saturday from 10 am – 5 pm. You may also arrange for shavings to be delivered directly to the shelter, we just ask that you call before so our staff can be on hand to assist.
