Help Us Get Justice for Ladybug!

Ladybug was brought to the HSVC by our Humane Officers in late November after being impounded in the field with a severe untreated head injury. Further veterinary treatment and x-rays showed several fractures throughout her body in various stages of healing, including a severe previously sustained knee injury. Though her knee injury is not currently causing her discomfort, it is possible she may require surgery in the future if it is exacerbated with age and growth.

Due to a lack of information regarding her previous ownership, the investigation into Ladybug's case is currently at a stand-still. We are now calling on our community to help us. If anyone is familiar with Ladybug or her previous living situation, please call the shelter at 805-646-6505 to speak with our Humane Officers. Any additional details provided could possibly help us in pursuing her case.

Despite her traumatic past, Ladybug is the happiest puppy with the sweetest personality! She adores being around people and will play for hours. Her abundance of puppy energy and zoomies is undeniably adorable, but she is also content cuddling up on your lap or lounging on her dog bed. Ladybug is as smart as she is sweet – she knows how to sit and is learning her manners very quickly. Help us find her the loving home she deserves!

Those interested in adopting Ladybug can stop by the shelter to visit her 🐶The HSVC is open Monday - Saturday from 10 am - 4:30 pm to visit the dogs and we are located at 402 Bryant St in Ojai, CA. Please note that because of the circumstances of Ladybug's past, all applications for her will be thoroughly reviewed by our Humane Officers to ensure she finds the best possible home.
