Happy Vet Tech Appreciation Week!

Today marks the start of Veterinary Tech Appreciation Week! We want to recognize our three Vet Techs/Assistants, Megan, Christina, and Natalie!

Our Vet Techs and Vet Assistants are crucial in the many daily practices of the HSVC's Spay and Neuter Clinic. They assist in surgery, perform vaccinations, draw blood, educate the public about the importance of vaccinations and spaying/neutering, and so much more. They play a vital role in helping our shelter accomplish its mission of promoting the health, safety, and compassionate care of all animals in need.

Director of Veterinary Services Dr. Sisk says, "The work they do is invaluable. There is no way we could spay and neuter as many animals as we do without them. Last month, we performed a record-breaking 225 surgeries! That would not have been possible without the hard work and dedication of Megan, Christina, and Natalie."

Thank you, Megan, Christina, and Natalie, for everything you do for our shelter!
