Go Dodger! This sweet dog was found abandoned in Casitas Springs on the side of the road with just a bowl of food and water on April 3rd. He was brought to the Humane Society of Ventura County for safekeeping, and besides his sad circumstance Dodger transitioned into shelter life like a champ.

Dodger, who we estimated to be around 10 years old, enjoyed the attention he got from volunteers and staff, especially his regular outings to the beach with our Animal Ambassadors. We were confident that Dodger's perfect family would come along and last week Terence and Sandra visited the shelter and clicked with this great guy. As you can imagine everyone was very excited when Terence and Sandra decided to make him a permanent part of their family!
