It’s a full house for foster parent Elizabeth! She recently welcomed Yvette, a sweet mama cat, and her eight tiny kittens into her home after they were brought in as strays. Now nearly 4-weeks-old, these beautiful kits have been thriving in the comfort of their safe, quiet foster home. A big thank you to Elizabeth, who opened her heart and home without hesitation!

According to Elizabeth, Yvette has proven to be an incredible mother. She keeps her kittens well-fed, clean, and cozy, often curling herself protectively around them in the cutest fluffy pile you’ve ever seen. The kittens, still wobbly on their little legs, are starting to explore their surroundings. They now spend their days practicing their pounces and melting hearts!

Families like Yvette’s are the reason foster homes are so important. Our shelter can only house so many animals at a time, and newborn kittens, especially those with nursing mothers, do best in a calm, quiet environment.
