It was recently discovered that our friend Dan has been experiencing seizures. These episodes were confirmed by a veterinarian and in order to get a better understanding of what is going on with Dan a blood panel will be required. Seizures are a common neurological problem seen in dogs. There are many different variables that could cause a dog to have a seizure and often the cause goes unknown. Fortunately seizures can be easily treated and dogs who experience seizures still have full and happy lives!

Once Dan is analyzed it is likely that he will require medication to help curb these episodes. We need your help to make sure that Dan gets the best care available so he is prepared for when his forever family comes along!

Dan was transferred from Ventura County Animal Services, where he was originally picked up as a stray, on January 8th of this year. This sweet boy is very playful and can be found running around with his friends in the play yards or soaking up some sun with one of our volunteers. Dan is only one year old and there is no reason that Dan shouldn't live a wonderful and happy life! Please help Dan by making a small donation to his care today!
