Pet of the Week - Marguerita

Meet Marguerita! This gorgeous 1-year-old Domestic Shorthair kitty was brought to the shelter for TNR (trap/neuter/release) in early May. After realizing she was more friendly than feral, Marguerita was signed over to the shelter to find a new home. Spunky and playful, Marguerita prefers her "me time" to socializing with other cats. She would make a great companion in a home with no other animals.

Pet of the Week - Dottie

Meet Dottie! This adorable 1-year-old Chihuahua is now available for adoption! Pretty girl Dottie was recently transferred to the HSVC through our rescue partners to find a new home. With such a sweet and cuddly personality, Dottie has become a fast favorite among our staff. If you are looking for an affectionate lap dog, Dottie is your girl!

Pet of the Week - Wendy Nova

Fourteen-year-old Wendy Nova is still patiently waiting for her forever home! A gorgeous Quarterhorse and Arabian mix, Wendy Nova was brought to the HSVC in 2008 by our Humane Officers during an abuse and neglect case. She was adopted out and returned to the shelter in 2018 through no fault of her own. Though this pretty girl is not broke to ride, she has a great foundation of groundwork and would make a fantastic pasture mate for any friendly horse.

Meet Sheba! This gorgeous girl was recently brought to the shelter to find a new home after she was abandoned by her previous owners. Sweet and friendly, Sheba gets along well with most adults, dogs, and cats, though she is not a fan of children. Her hobbies include head scratches, long naps, and of course, being beautiful.

Pet of the Week - Mac

A handsome orange tabby, Mac was brought to the HSVC as a stray in mid-May. After completing his stray hold unclaimed, 1-year-old Mac was made available for adoption. He can be a little shy at first, but once he trusts you he is the biggest lovebug! Mac's hobbies include napping, eating, and sitting on the highest perch of his cat tree to look out the window. Help us find this sweet boy the furever home he deserves!

Pet of the Week - Sparky

We can't help but grin when we see Sparky, his smile is so contagious! This handsome boy was recently surrendered to the HSVC to find a new home. A 7-year-old Border Collie/Boxer mix, Sparky has excellent indoor and outdoor manners and loves to go for walks. He gets along well with humans of all sizes and most dogs, however, he is not a fan of cats.

Pet of the Week - Miss Kitti

Say hello to Miss Kitti! This gorgeous 2-year-old Domestic Shorthair was recently transferred to the HSVC through our rescue partners to find a new home. She was a little shy when she first arrived, but Miss Kitti has since come out of her shell and become the sweetest girl! According to our kennel staff, the friendly white and brown tabby is always the first cat to come up to say hello when they enter our cat room. She would make a great companion cat for anyone looking for a lovable cuddle buddy.

A handsome German Shepherd/Border Collie mix, 1-year-old Madden was recently transferred to our shelter through our rescue partners. He is sweet, friendly, and has lots of puppy energy! He would do best in a home with an active owner who will take him for lots of walks and adventures. Madden is also very strong, so he will require a strong and experienced owner.

Five-year-old Snickerdoodle is the ultimate wiggle worm! This Jack Russell Terrie/Labrador Retriever mix loves to show his excitement with rapid tail wags and happy circles. Snickerdoodle was recently brought to the HSVC as an owner surrender after his previous owner could no longer care for him. Help us find his handsome boy the happily ever after he deserves!

Pet of the Week - Annie

One-year-old Annie was recently surrendered to the HSVC after her owners could no longer care for her. An adorable spotted Chihuahua, Annie is a very special girl. She has a pancreatic insufficiency and will require an enzyme supplement (about $150/month) for the rest of her life. Despite her medical condition, Annie is a pint-sized bundle of energy! This attention-loving pup enjoys running around, playing with toys, and belly rubs. Once she's tired herself out, she will settle into your lap and snuggle for hours. She deserves a loving furever home!
