Senior Dog Everest Gets the Home She Deserves!
Senior pup Everest has found her forever home after being in the shelter for 436 days! She is living happily ever after with Dianne and her daughter, and we couldn't be happier for her!
Eight-year-old Everest first came to the HSVC as a stray in mid-August 2023. The spunky Siberian Husky was made available for adoption after completing her stray hold unclaimed. Despite her friendly personality and cuddly nature, Everest seemed to be having trouble finding the right forever home.
Dianne first saw Everest on HSVC's social media. She came to the shelter to visit her but realized she wasn't ready to adopt yet. A few weeks later, Diane returned to the shelter as part of a tour group and noticed Everest was still available. Unable to get the sweet pup off her mind, Diane returned to the shelter a third time to finally bring Everest home. Thank you, Dianne and Carly, for taking a chance on this special senior!
