Thanks to the amazing support from our HSVC Cares clinic team, we were able to provide vaccinations for 109 dogs and cats and performed 21 spay/neuter surgeries in our mobile Pet Wellness Clinic. These clinics continue to be some of our most successful offsite events thus far. Each showcases our ongoing commitment to providing accessible care to pet owners who might otherwise face challenges in accessing traditional veterinary services. Huge thanks to our dedicated team for making this possible and to our amazing partners at Petco Love for helping us offer essential vaccines to pet owners in need at no cost. The free vaccinations included DHPP (distemper/parvo) for dogs, FVRCP (upper respiratory) for cats, and $5 Rabies vaccines for both species. These vaccines are critical for preventing common yet potentially serious diseases, ensuring that pets stay healthy, happy, and safe.

A heartfelt thank you goes out to Nyeland Acres for graciously hosting the clinic and providing such a welcoming space for the event. Sunday's adoption event featured the sun shining brightly, but with the wind blowing strong, our adoptable dogs took the opportunity to show off their personalities in the cozy hotel lobby. Each pup happily greeted guests as they checked in and out and enjoyed music from the live band. Their charm definitely left a lasting impression on everyone who came through the doors!

(Below) The day's greatest victory was when Martinella, one of our sweetest dogs, found her foster-to-adopt home! The joy on her new family’s faces was priceless as they met the 1-year-old Pitbull mix and realized she was the perfect fit for their home. Moments like these are what make adoption events so meaningful—not just for the animals, but for the families who gain a loyal companion for life.
