HSVC Receives Over $10,000 in Donations During #BettyWhiteChallenge

Thank you to everyone who donated to our Shelter as part of the #BettyWhiteChallenge! We were honored to receive over $10,000 in donations from animal lovers all over the country. What a meaningful way to celebrate what would've been the beloved star's 100th birthday!

As a private nonprofit, the HSVC does not receive any funding from the government or any other national animal welfare organization. We rely entirely on the generosity of our community to continue offering our vital services. We are grateful to have a network of incredible supporters, volunteers, and donors who help us achieve our mission of promoting the health, safety, and compassionate care of animals in need. Thank you for helping us make Betty White proud!

If you are interested in joining our cause, please visit our website to make a donation or sign up to be a monthly donor. Your contribution will help provide food, shelter, medical care, and more to homeless animals in need throughout our county. Supporters may also donate items our Shelter desperately needs via our Amazon or Chewy.com Wishlists. We also accept in-kind donations such as clean blankets, towels, pet toys, and unopened bags and cans of dog or cat food. These items can be dropped off at the HSVC any time during business hours Monday - Saturday from 10 am - 5 pm. We are located at 402 Bryant St. in Ojai.
