It's a Cinderella story for sweet Cricket after finding her furever home with Barbara, Orville, and their pups Cindy and Luci! What an amazing transformation!

A 2-year-old Maltese/Poodle mix, Cricket was found abandoned in an orchard in Fillmore in early December. She was extremely matted and scared when she was finally caught by a good samaritan several days later. Cricket was then brought to a professional groomer to get a much-needed makeover. 

Once groomed, Cricket was brought to the HSVC as a stray and placed in foster care with a loving couple, Barbara and Orville. The pair immediately fell in love with the adorable pup and their fostering quickly turned into a "foster fail".

Orville and Barbara recently brought Cricket back to the Shelter to finalize her adoption and permanently make her a member of their family. We are thrilled this pretty girl is finally getting her happily ever after. Congratulations Cricket, and thank you, Barbara and Orville, for giving Cricket the loving home she deserves!
