Equine Manager

Christina joined the staff at the Humane Society of Ventura County in 2014 as a kennel attendant before becoming a veterinarian assistant in the summer of 2016. Christina assisted the veterinarian during surgery, advised the public on the importance of spaying and neutering, and ensured that all animals in the clinic were well cared for.

In early August of 2023, she transitioned out of the clinic to pursue her true passion as HSVC's first-ever Equine Manager. A longtime horse lover and owner, Christina has been around horses and other animals all her life. She is excited to be able to give our shelter horses the one-on-one attention they deserve in her new role.
