Charlie the Snow Pup

There's snow place like home for Charlie! Formerly Hunter, this adorable Corgi/Australian Shepherd mix has been living it up as a snow pup since finding his furever home with Jill.

Charlie first came to the HSVC in early September of 2020 after being rescued in the field by our Humane Officers. Despite the situation he came from, Charlie was incredibly sweet, friendly, and affectionate with our entire staff. We knew he was a special pup that would need a very special home.

Jill had recently lost her beloved Corgi, 14-year-old Rosie, whom she adopted from our shelter years before. Heartbroken, she and her family thought they would be able to go on without another dog. The family quickly realized their hearts ached for another furry friend, so Jill reached out to the HSVC for help.

"Our timing for a new dog couldn't have been more meant to be. We fell in love with Charlie as soon as we laid eyes on him. Thank you to all of the staff at the HSVC for helping us find our perfect match!" said Jill.

Since finding his furever home, Charlie has become an avid explorer of the great outdoors. "We are outdoor people who wanted a dog that loves a good adventure as much as we do. Charlie loves hiking with us! His favorite activity is snowshoeing, he loves to frolic around in the fresh snow!" said Jill. Looks like our boy is truly living his best life! Thank you, Jill and family, for giving sweet Charlie the love he deserves!
