Celebrating Sadie Mae and Juniper's Adoption!
The Humane Society of Ventura County is pleased to announce the adoption of Sadie Mae and Juniper recently to The Hogan Family Foundation. Two horses brought to the HSVC from cases involving the HSVC Humane Officers will be spending their time at Rancho St. Frances in Hidden Valley.
The Hogan Family Foundation makes a difference in the lives of children by providing a riding program that would help develop special skills, build their confidence and teach them discipline, responsibility, and compassion for animals, according to their website.
Sadie Mae and Juniper first came to the HSVC under protective custody and eventual adoption from neglect cases; Sadie Mae in 2014 and Juniper in 2018. In both cases, the horses were brought back to health and rehabilitated.
