Thank you to everyone who came out to Saturday's Reading to Dogs and Cats event at the Humane Society of Ventura County! In honor of National Puppy Day, the HSVC had nearly 40 guests visit throughout the morning to spend time reading to the animals (puppies included) who currently call the Shelter home.

A special thank you to Kris Humphries and the Ojai Valley Library Friends and Foundation for donating books and gift certificates to all the kids who stopped by to read to the animals.
