Last Saturday's adoption event at the boat show was a huge success! Banh Mi, Pad Thai, and Taylor got a break from shelter life and journeyed to Ventura with several HSVC staff members for an afternoon of fun. The group enjoyed free food, live music, and more, plus the pups got lots of love and attention from those in attendance. Thank you to our friends at Boat Specialists for hosting us and gathering donations to support the shelter!

This was Banh Mi, Pad Thai, and Taylor's first time acting as animal ambassadors at an event, and we are so proud of how well they did! Each pup was friendly, well-behaved, and let visitors of all ages give them pets. All three shelter dogs are still looking for their forever homes despite having lots of interest at the event. Stop by the HSVC any time during visiting hours Monday through Saturday between 10 am and 4:30 pm if you are interested!

This is the second time Boat Specialists have invited us to their annual boat show and tent sale. They offered event attendees free food and beverages, and donations from each vendor were given to the shelter.
