Our Spring board meeting is CANCELED until further notice due to COVID-19. The Humane Society of Ventura County is still closed to the public, including public walkthroughs to visit the animals and access to all buildings.

We are performing adoptions by appointment only. If you are interested in adopting an animal, please visit our website and click the orange "Let's Get Started" button to make an adoption appointment request. Our adoption counselors will then contact you with the next steps in the adoption process.

Our Spay/Neuter Clinic is still performing spay/neuter surgeries and vaccinations by appointment only. Please call the shelter at 805-646-6505 to make an appointment.

We ask anyone coming to the shelter to abide by public safety protocols. Wearing a mask and maintaining social distance is REQUIRED for all staff and visitors.
