Be a Part of Animal Rescue in Your Community!
For over 85 years the Humane Society of Ventura County has served the community with the goal of improving the lives of animals in need. All of our achievements have been made possible with the generosity of our supporters, whether it be donations, volunteering, or adopting. However, money is essential to achieving our goals for the animals. With your support, the Humane Society of Ventura County will be able to continue its mission: Promoting the health, safety, welfare, compassionate care and protection of all animals through education and community outreach programs.
We encourage anyone who would like to join us in our ongoing efforts to provide the best care to needy animals in Ventura County to make a donation today!Your donations provide shelter, medical care, spay and neuter, and adoptions for the animals entrusted in our care. But that’s not all, the HSVC also educates the community about respect and kindness to all animals and is home to Ventura County’s only two Humane Officer’s who investigate cases of animal neglect and cruelty.
