Pet of the Week - Athena

Athena, a 3-year-old Siberian Husky, was brought to the Shelter by our Humane Officers at the end of September 2021. True to her breed, she is an energy-filled, playful girl looking for an active owner who is ready to keep up with her spirited personality and a home that offers an outdoor space for her to romp about. Athena is extremely smart and aims to please. She knows basic commands (sit, lay down, shake) and will sit patiently in her kennel while kennel staff puts a leash on her. Help us find this pretty girl a loving forever home!

The HSVC is currently closed to the public or walkthroughs to visit the animals. We are performing adoptions and meet and greets by appointment only. If you are interested in adopting sweet Athena, please call the Shelter today at 805-646-6505 to schedule a meet and greet with her!

Included with every dog adoption will be the first DHPP shot of the series (if age allows), a rabies vaccine (if age allows), wellness check good for up to three days from participating veterinarians, implanting an identification microchip with registration, spay or neuter surgery, if necessary, as well as a collar, ID tag, and a leash.
