The HSVC is excited to welcome Amber Landis to the Humane Society of Ventura County team as our new Director of Development! Amber has been in the nonprofit sector for over 15 years and has worked with a variety of nonprofit organizations in Ventura County: Rubicon Theatre, Casa Pacifica Centers for Children and Families and Big Brothers Big Sisters of Ventura County, to just name a few. She served on the local Association of Fundraising Professionals Santa Barbara/Ventura Counties (AFP SBV) chapter board for 8 years and is a current AFP SBV member.  When Amber is not working, her two children keep her busy and on the go!

"I am so excited to help steward and grow philanthropy for the shelter. The HSVC has a long history of making a positive impact in our community and I am thrilled I get to be a part of it!" said Amber.
