Amber Landis

Director of Development

Amber Landis joined the HSVC team in November of 2022 as the Director of Development and is excited to help steward and grow philanthropy for the shelter. She has been in the nonprofit sector for over 15 years and has worked with a variety of nonprofit organizations in Ventura County: Rubicon Theatre, Casa Pacifica Centers for Children and Families and Big Brothers Big Sisters of Ventura County, to just name a few. Amber served on the local Association of Fundraising Professionals Santa Barbara/Ventura Counties (AFP SBV) chapter board for 8 years and is a current AFP SBV member.  When Amber is not working, her two children keep her busy and on the go!
