April is Volunteer Appreciation Month! Though volunteer opportunities are currently on hold due to COVID-19, we can still acknowledge the amazing contributions our volunteers have made over the years.

 

As a private nonprofit originally founded by volunteers, we know we would not be able to continue providing our lifesaving services without the assistance of our volunteers. These individuals lend their time, skills, and passion to help us accomplish our mission of providing care and protection to animals in need. From all of us at the HSVC, we want to extend a heartfelt thank you to all of our volunteers. We love you, and we miss you!

Unfortunately, we do not know when we will be able to welcome volunteers back to our shelter. Stay tuned for more information regarding a reopening date in the future.
