Big Things Happening This October!
October is Adopt-A-Shelter-Dog Month! Did you know about 3.1 million dogs enter U.S. animal shelters every year? This month is the perfect opportunity to help homeless animals in need!
If you are ready to open your heart and home, please consider adopting an animal from the HSVC. We have furry friends of all ages, breeds, and sizes still patiently waiting for furever homes of their own. Visit our website at hsvc.org/adopt to view all of our available animals or call 805-646-6505 to schedule an appointment to meet your future best friend.
For those not quite ready to adopt, there are still lots of ways you can help us celebrate Adopt-A-Shelter-Dog Month! Visit our website to make a donation to benefit shelter animals. Supporters can also check out our Amazon Wishlist to purchase items the staff and animals of the HSVC desperately need. Every little bit can make a difference in the lives of homeless animals in need!
October is also Subaru Loves Pets Month! All October long, our friends at Kirby Subaru of Ventura will be amplifying their commitment to helping shelter animals by donating $100 for each animal adopted from the HSVC! They will also show their support for the HSVC by donating treats, toys, and funds to help animals in need like Sammy (pictured above). Thank you Kirby Subaru for your continuous support!
