Kip the Beach Bum

Five-year-old Kip was adopted by Briann and Steve after he was transferred to the HSVC through our rescue partners. He was very sweet, but very shy when he first arrived at our shelter. According to Briann, the handsome German Shepherd has come a long way since they brought him home in July of 2020.

"Kip didn't recognize the sound of a doorbell, did not know that he couldn't walk through a screen door, and did not know how to fetch at first. We have a rather large front driveway, and I have been teaching him how to fetch. He is learning that he loves the tennis ball and we are working on him bringing the ball back. Kip is now my best buddy. We take almost daily 2.5-5 mile walk/runs, and he continues to thrive with us! He has come such a long way, and we just love him so much!" said Briann.

The sweet pup's favorite past times include car rides, beach days, naps, walks/runs, and spending time with his new pawrents. He loves playing with his favorite toys and even gets spoiled with a treat dipped in peanut butter before bed.

Thank you, Briann and Steve, for giving Kip the loving home he deserves!
