Can you even believe this is the same dog!? Little Man was brought to the shelter last Friday in extremely poor condition. He was so matted that his collar was permanently stuck in his fur. Once Little Man was checked into the shelter, Assistant Kennel Manager Tina drove him directly to Puff N Fluff Pet Grooming in Meiners Oaks for a complete makeover. When Tina brought little Man back to the shelter that afternoon we barely recognized him!
A big thank you to Dee Dee's Dog Spot in Ventura for helping raise over $600 for the Humane Society of Ventura County Kennel Fund.

There is no greater feeling than watching a rescue dog be adopted into a loving home. Such was the case with Fiona who was rescued in the field by Humane Officers back in May along with 3 other dogs. Fiona, who at the time of her rescue was only 12 weeks old, has come along way from the frightened little girl she once was.
