Congratulations to the Alcala family on their new kitten Pudge!

Animal Ambassador and shelter photographer extraordinaire, Kali Brooks, knew of a family with a very deserving young girl named Mary who was recently diagnosed with brain cancer. Mary's mom had seen a photo of Pudge on Kali's Facebook page and knew that Pudge would be just the thing for her daughters. Kali contacted her friends at the HSVC on their behalf and the shelter staff and Pudge's foster mom, Angela Hanline, agreed that Pudge was meant to be a part of their family. Yesterday Marlo, Mandy and Hope came to officially welcome Pudge into their family and take this little fluff ball home!
