Volunteer Raises Funds For Animals In Need

Volunteers play a crucial role at the Humane Society of Ventura County and are dedicated members of our team assisting in all areas of our operation. If you have ever visited the shelter it is likely that one of our volunteers helped you in one way or another.

Many of our volunteers are the very same people who make regular donations and help fund all of the work that we do. Roselynn has been volunteering her time at the shelter for quite awhile and last week she delivered a $117.34 donation to help animals in need. For her senior project at Nordhoff High School, Roselynn composed six songs in honor of her late cat Autumn, who was adopted from the HSVC seven years ago. She placed these songs on a GoFundMe page and successfully raised funds for the shelter. We are so honored by Roselynn's dedication and thoughtfulness and all that she does for homeless animals throughout the county.
