Yesterday, Director of Community Outreach Greg Cooper stopped by the Rubicon Theatre in Ventura to pick up the donations they had collected over the past three weeks during their run of the production Sylvia.

Amber Landis-Stover, Rubicon Development Director and Karyl Lynn Burn, Rubicon Co-Founder/Producing Artistic Director, were there to meet with him and pose for a photo outside the Rubicon Theater Company. The donations were graciously provided by the patrons of the Rubicon production of Sylvia, which ended its run May 7th.

Cooper, who joined the Humane Society of Ventura County on March 27th , commented, "Thank you so much to the Rubicon for working with the HSVC in this limited partnership. Considering this was my first event as Director of Community Outreach, I look forward to creating new community partners."

Rubicon Theatre Company is the city of Ventura’s largest not-for-profit art organization. Besides collecting donations for the shelter, the theatre company also displayed our various available animals on their social media and provided the shelter with a venue to share with the community the many services offered. We are honored to have their support and grateful to have Rubicon Theatre Company as a partner!
