Ellen is no stranger to doing good in her community. She is a volunteer at the Community Memorial Hospital and works with children in foster care as a Court Appointed Special Advocate. She acquired an HSVC piggy bank and kept it at her house. Whenever she had friends or family over, Ellen would ask them if they would like to make a donation to the shelter. What a sweet and simple way to raise money for a good cause!

The HSVC is now offering FREE fundraising piggy banks for anyone interested in raising money to help animals in need. You can pick up your reusable piggy bank at the shelter, located at 402 Bryant St. in Ojai, any time Monday – Saturday from 10 am – 5 pm while supplies last.
