Congratulations Mandarin! Shelter staff and volunteers have been waiting for this day for a long time. Shelter senior Mandarin (17 years old) has left the building!

On Monday Stephen, Madison, and Laurel came in to meet Mandarin after seeing her on our Facebook. They fell in love with her and after some thought came back to adopt her today! When asked why they chose Mandarin they said "everyone wants the young cats, we wanted to give an older cat a home to spend the last of their days".

Mandarin waited patiently for this day (more then 6 months). And though she has had many admirers we are so grateful to these three for stepping up to the plate and giving her a home of her own.
