A very special thank you to Junia Childs, DVM for all her hard work with animals in need. Junia has been volunteering her time and expertise to help some of our more fragile dogs get well.

Yesterday, 12 year old Franklin, who was rescued in the field by our Humane Officers after he was found in very poor condition, received a round of acupuncture to help with his discomfort. As soon as Junia was done he turned around and gave her a big kiss. Just look at that smile!

Junia has worked on many of the dogs at the shelter and each of them has made great strides in their recovery. We are so grateful for her support. Thank you!
