Sequoia Update

We are so proud of our girl Sequoia who has recovered wonderfully after having a necessary surgery on her ACL. Yesterday, Sequoia had a visit with her veterinarian at VetSurg in Ventura to check on her progress after being on light duty while she recovered. Her Doctor gave raving reviews and is confident that she will back to her old self in no time.

Starting today Sequoia is on a new regimen to get her into good shape and the best part is seeing Sequoia get to run around off leash for the first time in months! While regular walks have been a part of her daily schedule since her surgery, she has not been able to run free until her veterinarian gave her the go ahead. As you can imagine, she enjoyed her time in the play yard immensely!

Sequoia has done so well over the past few months and we are all so proud of how far she is come. Now the next step will be finding this special girl the perfect new home!

Sequoia is a five year old Great Dane and Shepherd mix who is in need of a loving and quiet home where she can be a part of the family. If you would like to meet Sequoia please call the shelter at 805-646-6505 to arrange a time to meet her!
