Sequoia Update

If you are a regular follower of the Humane Society of Ventura County then Sequoia will be a familiar face. Sequoia, who is currently the longest dog resident at the shelter, recently encountered a setback that required surgery on her hind leg.

Sequoia had her follow up doctor's appointment yesterday and we are happy to report she is right on track for a full recovery! Since her arrival nearly 18 months ago, Sequoia has become a part of the family. We hope that once Sequoia is back on her feet she will be adopted into a loving home.

Thank you to everyone who has made a donation to Sequoia's fund. As of this morning our supporters have raised $2935 to cover her medical expenses. That is nearly half of our $5000 goal raised in less than two weeks! If you would like to make a contribution to her medical expenses please visit our website at www.HSVC.org/sequoia. Every penny counts!

YES! I WANT TO MAKE A DONATION TO SEQUOIA'S SURGERY FUND!
