Special thanks to Johnny Johnston, the Mayor of Ojai who personally delivered a City of Ojai Proclamation to the Humane Society of Ventura County on Monday.

Mayor Johnston and Ojai Deputy City Clerk Gail Davis wrote the proclamation to acknowledge the Humane Society of Ventura County for their recent 86^th birthday and for their emergency services during the Thomas Fire. The Proclamation was accepted on behalf of the entire staff and board of directors by Director of Community Outreach Greg Cooper and Shelter Director Jolene Hoffman.
