Pet of the Week - Scottie

Little Scottie is one awesome dog! This black and white Jack Russell and Beagle mix was brought to the shelter as a stray on August 14th after being found wandering Creek Road in Oak View. To everyone's surprise this friendly pup was never claimed and is now available for adoption.

While we have no formal background on Scottie he seems to love everyone he meets and is very affectionate. Scottie was neutered here at the shelter and we estimate he is about 7 years old. Scottie is an all around great little guy who would make a great addition to any home. Who's the lucky family going to be!?

Included with every dog adoption will be the first DHPP shot of the series, a rabies vaccine, a wellness check good for up to three days from participating veterinarians, implanting an identification microchip (registration extra), spay or neuter surgery, if necessary, as well as a collar, ID tag, and a leash.

For dog adoptions, a yard check will be performed prior to adoption. In addition to adequate fencing and shelter, those wishing to adopt a pet must provide either proof of ownership of the residence or a rental agreement for that address indicating that pets are allowed.
