Nina was surrendered to our shelter, with another dog, Buddy, on February 13, 2015. She is a sweet, black, short-haired Chihuahua mix who is roughly ten years old. 

When Nina first came to the shelter, she was a little shy (as many dogs are when they first come to the shelter) but she is warming up nicely after spending time with our staff and volunteers. Though she is often very quiet, she will let you know how happy she is when she sees you!

Nina enjoys sitting on laps and being petted and she is very much a lap dog. She's perfect for an older family or individual. It is well documented that seniors and older individuals with pets have less health problems and depression.
