Pet of the Week - Bear

Seven year old Bear is one lovable guy! This handsome cat has been through a lot in the last year. After his original owner passed away Bear was abandoned by his caretaker back in August and at the end of October found himself in the care of the Humane Society of Ventura County.

Bear has transitioned nicely into the cat room and has enjoyed the companionship of other cats, volunteers, and guests. Bear is one special guy looking for the perfect home. If you are interested in meeting Bear please ask a staff member to introduce you! Don't forget June is Adopt-a-Cat month and all cat and kitten adoptions are only $60!

Cat adoptions will include the first FVRCP shot in the series, a leukemia test (if age allows), rabies vaccine (if age allows), a medical exam good for up to three days from participating veterinarians, deworming, implanting an identification microchip (registration extra), spay or neuter surgery if necessary as well as a safety collar, ID tag, and a cardboard carrier.
