Pet Costumes For Sale!

Halloween is only a few days away but the festivities have already begun! We still have an assortment of costumes for cats and dogs available at the shelter in Ojai for a recommended donation of only $5. All money raised will go to helping animals in need.

If you are planning on dressing up your pets this season following are a few helpful tips with your pets best interest always in mind.

- Please do not put your dog or cat in a costume UNLESS you know he or she loves it! Wearing a costume may cause undue stress.

-If you do dress up your pet, make sure the costume is safe. It should not constrict the animal's movement, hearing, or impede their ability to breathe, bark, or meow. If your pet seems distressed, allergic or shows abnormal behavior, remove the costume immediately!

- Make sure your pet’s costume does not have any small, dangling, or easily chewed-off pieces that they could choke on or get stuck.
