Thank You Wellness Natural Pet Food and Best Friends Animal Society!

The Humane Society of Ventura County was grateful to be the recipient of four pallets of donated dog food recently by the Wellness Natural Pet Food from a Southern California drive organized by Best Friends Animal Society. The food will be distributed to those in need including John who relies on donations to feed his two boxers.

Low-Cost Vaccination Clinic To Resume May 21st by Appointment Only!

Save the date! Our low-cost vaccination clinic will be reopening Thursday, May 21st by APPOINTMENT ONLY. We will be scheduling 15 minute appointments from 12 pm to 4 pm, with the last appointment at 3:45. Starting May 21st, we will resume hosting our vaccination clinic on the 1st and 3rd Thursday of each month. Please DO NOT come to the clinic without an appointment. If you arrive unannounced, our staff will ask you to return after you schedule an appointment.

HSVC Spay/Neuter Clinic Open Once Again!

The HSVC Spay/Neuter Clinic is once again open for business! To make up for lost time during kitten season, we are having a “First 50 Free + FVRCP” promotion for cats! Any healthy cat weighing over 2 pounds can make an appointment for FREE spay or neuter surgery and a FVRCP vaccine if needed. Litters of kittens are welcome! Please note our procedures and policies have changed due to social distancing protocols, including new curbside drop-off and pickup.
